When you just signed up the first 2 things to do are:
1 - Add your payment address in your preferred currency address to receive refunds.
You can do this on the Payment settings page under Settings.
2 - For extra security add your Public PGP Key and enable 2FA.
You can do this on the PGP Settings page under Settings and afterwards
on the 2FA Settings page also under Settings.
We accept 2 different Crypto Currencies:
1 - You can pay your order with Bitcoin by sending it to the address on the order page.
When you checkout, you will automatically be taken to the order page.
2 - You can also pay with Monero and it works the same as noted above with Bitcoin.
When you checkout, you will automatically ve taken to the order page.
All orders will show up as paid after it they have received 3 confirmations.
When you have added your product in your basket, you have 2 options:
1 - If it's for a product that requires shipping you can enter your details
on the cart page; don't forget to click on save changes.
Once you click save changes it will ensure that when checking out your details get encrypted.
2 - If it's for a product that does not require any shipping then you can leave it blank.
In most cases these products will be delivered automatically to your order page after payment.
If the product does not have automatic delivery, then the vendor will send it to your private inbox after payment.
If you think you got scammed you have two options:
1 - Open a dispute on the order page.
This can be done by going to the Buyer tab and then Your Orders.
2 - You can also first try to contact the Vendor to see if something went wrong.
Always give the vendor a reasonable time to ship or deliver the ordered goods.
Never use the Helpdesk system when you think you got scammed.
If you get any kind of error on the website you can do two things:
1 - Try to refresh the page, sometimes a connection issue with TOR can cause an error.
Also in case you are using a VPN with TOR make sure to check you are still connected.
2 - If it keeps occurring then the best thing is to open a Helpdesk ticket.
In most cases if the error occurs on the side of Quest, it will be solved very fast.
We don't give any bug bounties!
It's very important to take note of the two following points:
1 - First it's forbidden to make contact with any Vendor through Private message and request to deal outside of Quest.
If we find out this has happened we will ban your account straight away.
2 - If a Vendor asked you to deal outside of Quest then you should report it to us straight away.
Always open a Helpdesk ticket and report all cases of Vendors trying to deal outside of Quest.
This is a 2 sided story:
1 - In most cases buying your product from a Vendor that has Finalize Early enabled is secure.
All Vendors that have Finalize Early enabled have a proven record when it comes to reliability.
2 - It does happen sometimes that Vendors decide to pull the plug and take as much as they can with them.
The safest thing to do is to stick to Escrow orders as this will always protect you.
Quest does scan actively for Vendors that start behaving strange and takes action when needed.
Escrow works in multiple steps:
1 - When you place your order, you will be taken to the order page.
On the order page you will make your payment to an Escrow address.
2 - Now the payment you sent will remain on this address till you have recieved your order.
Once you receive your order, you will go to your order page and click that you have received your item.
At this point the funds will be released to the Vendor.
Finalize Early works in a different way:
1 - Once you order your product and send the payment it will go straight away to the vendor.
This means that the Vendor will receive the funds before shipping your goods.
2 - It's always smart to use your common sense before moving forward on a Finalize Early order.
In case the Vendor does not ship your goods or fails to find a solution, Quest won't be able to assist in a dispute.
Finalize Early is always used at your own discretion.
Leaving feedback is done on the order page:
1 - Once you have received your order you can go to your order page.
On your order page, once you mark as delivered the order page will show a new section.
2 - In this new section you can leave your feedback score and comment.
It's highly recommended to leave feedback for all your purchases.
Also remember that vendors appreciate honest feedback as this gives them the opportunity to improve.
To become a Vendor you have to do the following steps:
1 - Add your payment address in your preferred currency address to receive refunds.
You can do this on the Payment settings page under Settings.

on the 2FA Settings page also under Settings.
3 - Go to the Become Vendor tab, and from there you can pay the Vendor fee.
Once the Vendor fee has been paid and confirmed, you can click the Confirm Vendorship button.
You can select 2 different types of products:
1 - If you wish to sell a product that requires shipping.
Then you should select Add New Physical Product, you can find this under your Vendor Menu.
2 - If you wish to sell a product that does not require shipping, but can be sent through download link.
Then you should select Add New Digital Product, you can find this under your Vendor Menu.
We have a couple products that are strictly forbidden on Quest:
1 - Any kind of product that can be used to harm any living creature is forbidden.
This includes any form of poison.
If we notice you list something that falls into this category we will remove it straight away and you will lose you vendor status.
2 - Anything related to Child abuse or Pornography is forbidden to the highest degree.
If we notice anything of this content being added to the product on Quest, we will remove it straight away.
Also your Vendor and User account will be banned forever.
If you think you got scammed you have two options:

2 - You can also first try to contact the Buyer to see if something went wrong.
Always give the Buyer a reasonable time to answer.
Never use the Helpdesk system when you think you got scammed.
If you are still waiting for your Escrow funds to be released you can do 2 things:
1 - Send a message to the Customer asking them to confirm the receipt of their order.
If they confirm they have received it ask them to release the funds.
2 - If they do not reply within 14 Days since shipping then you can ask us to manually release it for you.
In most cases orders do get released on time by the Customer.
Always use the dispute function to request manual release of Escrow funds.
It's very important to take note of the two following points:

It depends on a couple factors if we will grant you Finalize Early:
1 - You have a positive feedback of 92% or more over a minimum of 750 sales on Quest.
We don't make any exception on this, so we can ensure the safety of all Quest customers.
2 - You have extensive history on other markets on the TOR network.
This means a minimal verifiable history of 5 years as a Vendor a a positive feedback of over 90%.
The last noted is subject to screening by Quest and may take a while to get approved.
Escrow funds are held for various time frames:
1 - When you are a new Vendor it is set at 21 Days.
Unless the Customer releases it before this time frame.
2 - Vendors that are Rank 4 or higher it's 14 Days.
3 -Vendors that are Rank 8 or above it's 7 Days.
You can also always request manual release in case a Customer does not release on a reasonable time frame.

Open a Helpdesk ticket and let us know what you would like to see as a function on Quest.
We won't be ableto implement all desired functions on Quest, as it all depends on multiple factors.
Please don't request for the import of feedback from other markets, Quest is want a solo feedback system.
Free Vendor waivers are given in some circumstances:
1 - If you have extensive selling history on other market on the TOR network.
By extensive we mean a minimal experience of 2 Years and 1500 sales with adequate positive feedback.
2 - If you have had more than 1500 sales on Quest you can ask you Vendor Fee back.
When you hit 1500 positive sales on Quest, it will automatically be sent to your provided payment address.
Don't ask for you Vendor fee back if you do not have the 1500 positive sales on Quest.
We reserve the right to block this function if we notice any form of dishonest behaviour on Quest.
